Note: Cozy Home is an old farmhouse so after a long rain or a big snow melt, you may get some standing water in the basement, but no worries, we have a dehumidifier to take care of it and that's definitely much better than the old days! If that’s something you’d rather avoid, this might not be the right fit. Otherwise, settle in with a hot cup of cocoa or coffee and enjoy a warm, inviting stay! Other Things to Note ✹ This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town! We love to host guests who have previously stayed in short term rentals and earned favorable reviews. ✹ While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away. ✹ If you have any allergies or sensitivities, please let us know ahead of time. It will help us better prepare for your reservation. ✹ There is no daily housekeeping service provided at the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. For longer stays, Mid-stay cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee. ✹ Please gather excess trash and place it in large receptacles at the back of the house. ★★ RULES AND GUIDELINES ★★ ✹ We ask our guests to enjoy and treat our house with the same love and respect as they would their own home. ✹ For the comfort and better enjoyment of all present and future guests, SMOKING is not allowed inside the house (e.g. marijuana, vapes, cigarettes, etc.) ✹ This cozy home is NOT for parties, large gatherings, or events. If a guest violates the house rules and allows unauthorized guests, everyone will be removed from the property without a refund. ✹ STRICT QUIET HOURS 9PM - 7AM "Especially Outdoor" ✹ Damage to the property will incur the following charges: ✔ Damaged towels $20 Each ✔ Damaged Linens $30 Each ✔ Comforter $200 ✔ Duvet Cover $100 ✔ No undeclared guests ✔ Pet cleanup $400 ✔ Party cleanup $500 ✔ Smoke remediation $700 ✔ Undeclared pet $200/pet ✹ Please note that security cameras are present for exterior monitoring only. A noise monitoring device is installed inside the property. ✹ To ensure a seamless check-in and a clear understanding of the rental terms, guests are required to complete the following upon booking confirmation: ✔Upload a valid ID ✔Fill out the Check-in Form ✔Sign the Rental Agreement ✹ LEFT ITEMS: $25 will be charged on items that was left in the property on top of the shipping fee ✹ Early Check-in: If there is no reservation from the previous day, we can consider an early check in. Alternatively, you can book the previous day to guarantee the early check in. ✹ Late Check-out: Late check out request are seldomly approved due to the cleaning team is scheduled on your check out schedule at 11am. ✹ EXTENSION REQUEST: When you feel like time runs out too fast and wish to have more time in our home, we’ve got you covered. We’d appreciate it if you let us know as soon as you find out the need to extend your stay. We would like to inform you that we only allow extension requests until 12:00 am on your last day in the property. Any requests that come in after midnight while the cleaner is already scheduled for that day will have an additional cleaning fee. ✹ NOTE: We provide complementary consumables like toiletries which include soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, packets of creamer and sugar, and other bathroom amenities. For your convenience, we offer mid-reservation supplies replenishing at minimal cost. Pet Friendly ★★ PETS ARE ALLOWED – TERMS AND CONDITIONS ✹ We welcome well-behaved pets. Only 2 pets are allowed per reservation (More than 2 pets are negotiable, please seek host approval first before making the reservation) ✹If you're bringing more than our maximum pet allowed we would require a $500 security deposit ✹ Pets must be house-trained and under their owner's control at all times. They should not be left unattended in the rental property at any time. ✹ Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, both indoors and outdoors. (Pet cleaning fee minimum of $500 may be charged after the reservation if proven that there was neglect on this item) ✹ If a pet causes damage to the rental property, the guest is responsible for the cost of any repairs or replacements. ✹ Guests must provide proof of their pet's up-to-date vaccinations and flea/tick treatments before check-in. ✹ If a pet becomes a nuisance to other guests or neighbors, the guest may be asked to leave the rental property without a refund. ✹ Guests are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pets to other guests or neighbors. ✹ By booking this rental property and bringing a pet, the guest agrees to abide by these pet policies. Please note that failure to comply with these policies may result in additional fees or the cancellation of the reservation. Travel by car is the most popular choice but being only 4 blocks from downtown Medina, it is a shorty Lyft/Uber from most venues to our home. Lyfts and Ubers are always readily available. The location is very walkable to all the events being held on the square. Central Medina is mostly walkable from the property, otherwise Medina is mostly accessed by car, however, public transportation is available with published bus routes and there is always an Uber available! Besides the many coffee shops, restaurants, and the vibrant Medina Square just 4–5 blocks from our property, Medina is also home—or close to home—to numerous Ohio businesses.
